Let's talk apples. I'm an apple fiend. I have one with my breakfast every morning, and sometimes another later in the day. My favorites, in order, Envy, Sugar Bee, Fuji. And now we come to the Honeycrisp. I don't buy them anymore because they're just not that good. Ever wonder why? Are you an apple fiend like me? Favorites? (My sister loves the Sweet Tango. I'm going to have to try.) P.S. Not to be judgy or anything, but if you're still relying on that old Red Delicious, you're missing a world of wonder!)

Follow up: I just bought two big bags each of Envy and Cosmic Crisp at Costco today. That should hold us for a week or so! 🙂
We typically buy galas or honeycrisp. We love them for eating. If I'm making pie I still buy a Courtland.. but that's probably because that's what my Grandma used to use.
First, I apologize to anyone who actually likes Red Delicious apples. Those things are grainy and taste terrible! They must have been named by someone who was desperate to sell them! (My opinion. If you like them, great. You can have all of mine.)
